On Sunday, the list of co-streamers for the 2025 Mid-Season Invitational has been revealed, with 86 streamers granted broadcast rights—up from around 60 during the 2025 First Stand in March. As expected, the usual streamers are back for this new edition of MSI—Kamel "Kameto" Kebir, Marc "Caedrel" Lamont, and Marcin "Jankos" Jankowski will be covering the event. Notably, Ibai "Ibai" Llanos makes his return after a long break, during which the Spanish scene had to do without its biggest streamer. He’ll now be able to cast his team, Movistar KOI, the LEC champions directly qualified for the Main Stage.

The competition will be available in 19 languages, compared to 17 previously. The MSI kicks off on June 27 with the Play-In stage, starting with a best-of-five between the LEC’s second seed, G2 Esports, and LTA South champions FURIA. The following day, Bilibili Gaming will make their debut against GAM Esports.

Riot Games continues to open up its esports ecosystem to co-streamers, helping maintain a high and steady viewership. This strategy proves effective despite a noticeable decline in numbers during the Spring Split—especially in Europe, where viewership dropped by over 14% compared to Spring 2024 and more than 36% compared to Winter 2025. Meanwhile, the LCK set a new yearly record—previously held by the league itself—with just under two million viewers tuning in for the final best-of-five of the split between T1 and Hanwha Life Esports. On the other hand, the situation is even more challenging for the LTA North Split 2, with average viewership down 34% compared to the LCS Spring 2024.

Riot continues to open up League of Legends to a wider audience—not only through the launch of new servers around the world, the most recent being in the Middle East, but also with co-streaming. This year’s MSI will be available in 19 different languages, including Romanian, Thai, and Arabic. While female co-streamers remain a minority, some will be present, such as Athena "Kittwy" Jiang casting in English and Maryblog on the Spanish side. Co-streaming remains a powerful way for LoL to grow globally, offering diversity and choice to viewers while reaching new communities.
