DN Freecs finished last in the 2025 LCK Split
Jeong "Peter" Yoon-su is set to join DN Freecs in the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK), as announced by the team on Thursday. The 22-year-old support reached the 2025 Worlds grand final in Chengdu with KT Rolster, where he fell to T1. He will now join DN Freecs, the team that finished last in the LCK in 2025.
From a career that began with Nongshim RedForce in 2022 to becoming a Worlds finalist and one of the most valuable supports on the transfer market, Peter’s rise has been as steep as his signature celebration. His trajectory took off in 2022, when he won the LCK CL while making appearances in both LCK splits. By 2023 and through Spring 2024, he had become the sole starting support for the organization in the LCK, though the team never managed to reach the playoffs.
The year with KT Rolster
Peter later joined KT Rolster Challengers, won the Kickoff event, and was promoted to the main roster to replace Han "Way" Gil, who was struggling early in the year. Across KT’s series, he quickly became a fixture in the botlane alongside Seo "deokdam" Dae-gil, and through his creativity and playmaking, he established himself as one of the league’s standout supports. deokdam will also join DNF, as announced by the team one hour earlier.

For DN Freecs, the 2025 season was a resounding failure. They finished second-to-last in the Baron group during the LCK Cup, then were eliminated 2-0 by DRX in the Play-In. The team lost its first 11 BO3 series in LCK Rounds 1-2 before managing a narrow win against NS, ending the Spring Split at 1-17.
The Summer Split showed slight improvement, with three wins out of 12 BO3 series, but it wasn’t enough to reach the Play-In. DN Freecs closed their LCK year with a 4-26 record, far behind the first qualifying spot held by OKSavingsBank BRION at 11-19.
A New Roster for DNF
DN Freecs are therefore shaping a new roster—one that is more competitive and ambitious. According to the Global Contract Database, all players are at the end of their contracts except for Hong "Pyosik" Chang-hyeon and Kim "Life" Jeong-min. Peter will take the support position, and another big-name AD Carry is expected to join, forming a top-tier LCK botlane.
DN Freecs' Reported 2026 Roster:
- Top: TBD
- Jungle: Hong "Pyosik" Chang-hyeon (Still under contract, could change)
- Mid: TBD
- AD Carry: Seo "deokdam" Dae-gil
- Support: Jeong "Peter" Yoon-su
