The 2016 ROX Tigers reunite after nearly a decade
After announcing his retirement following Worlds 2025, Han “Peanut” Wang‑ho is stepping back onto the Rift once again. He will compete in SOOP LoL League (SLL) 2025 Winter, a Korean League of Legends tournament organized by SOOP in partnership with the Predator League. The event will reunite him with his legendary ROX Tigers teammates — Song "Smeb" Kyung-ho, Lee "Kuro" Seo-haeng, and Kim "PraY" Jong-in — while No "SnowFlower” Hoi‑jong joins the lineup to anchor the support role.
After ten years in the LCK, Peanut’s participation in SLL marks a special moment: the 2016 ROX Tigers roster playing together again for the first time in nearly a decade. He began streaming on SOOP on December 5, signaling his will to remain close to South Korean esports. SLL 2025 Winter starts with the group draw on December 10 and culminates in the grand finals on December 24, promising a short but action‑packed season featuring six high‑profile teams.
A competitive show of Legends
The SLL brings together top‑tier talent each season, known for its combination of intense competition and fan‑driven storytelling. This winter’s edition not only features the reunited ROX Tigers but also powerhouse names like 2021 Worlds finalist Kim "Khan" Dong-ha and Kim "Clid" Tae-min (formerly of T1), Choi "Leaper" Gi-myeong (ex‑Kwangdong Freecs), and veterans Park "Summit" Woo-tae, Shin "HiRit" Tae-min and Yoo "FATE" Su-hyeok, ensuring high‑stakes battles throughout the event.
Popular streamers Lee "Sangho" Sang-ho and Kim Min‑gyo will also compete, reinforcing SLL’s will to mix high‑level gameplay and engaging entertainment. The league will again include its unique “Sixth‑Man” system, allowing a few active pros to appear in selected matches through team voting. Among the pool of available player can be found names such as Hong "Pyosik" Chang-hyeon, Jeong "Peter" Yoon-su or Lee "DuDu" Dong-ju.
