Neeko leads Keria’s vote with 80%, while Ambessa tops Doran’s at 64%
T1 lifted their 6th title in their history this Sunday, November 9th, further cementing their supremacy in the history of the game. It is the first three-peat ever, confirming once again that this T1 roster, with the addition of Choi "Doran" Hyeon-joon is without a doubt the greatest in history.
And as every year, the winner of the Worlds earns the ultimate reward of seeing their victory immortalized in the game, as Riot Games introduces skins in the game for each player who wins the Worlds.
Keria: Neeko or Lulu?
Ryu "Keria" Min-seok organized a vote on his Instagram story between Neeko and Lulu, two champions he played during the competition. Neeko is far ahead, with about 80% of the votes at the time of writing.
Keria played eleven different champions, but this choice is not surprising, as Keria was dominant on Neeko throughout the Worlds, playing the champion four times (including twice in the Swiss Stage, once against Top Esports in the semifinals, and once against Anyone’s Legend), with a 75% win rate. His performances on this champion were marked by precise setups and spectacular clones, reflecting the genius of the player, and explaining the fans' enthusiasm.
Doran: Ambessa, Gragas or Camille?
Following the same process, Doran launched a poll in his Instagram story between Ambessa, Gragas, Camille, and an "Others" option. So far, Ambessa leads with about 64% of the votes. He played Ambessa three times during this edition of Worlds: in the final against KT Rolster, in the Swiss Stage against Gen.G, and in the Play-In against Invictus Gaming.
Doran also played eleven different champions during Worlds, but the champion was a pillar of his gameplay throughout the whole year also, and the community seems charmed by the idea of a potential flamboyant Ambessa T1 skin.
No information so far has leaked from the other three players. But many possibilities are yet open for Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok, Mun "Oner" Hyeon-jun, and Lee "Gumayusi" Min-hyeong, who will have the luxury to get two skins at Worlds, as he received the MVP of the final award.
