When the League of Legends Championship Series merged with the Circuit Brazilian League of Legends to create one united American scene, one scene was left behind: Latin America. Out of the ashes of the passionate region rose the winningest organization in LATAM LoL: LYON Gaming

The team was reborn after Six Karma and Movistar Rainbow7 merged and competed in LTA in 2025. Now that the LCS is back, LYON want to show North America who runs this league by returning to their winning ways and capturing their first LCS Championship.

The organization started the offseason quickly by letting go of Gabriel “Khynm” Roussy and Tobías “Pointless” Riscica, who had coached the team since their LLA days. The man stepping up is Kim “Reignover” Yeu-jin. Reignover will arrive after three years coaching Team Liquid, where he spent a year as head coach in 2023. Han "Rigby" Earl will also join LYON's coaching staff.

Grown in the Den

As the offseason rolled in, LYON quickly moved to secure their key players. After a year away from Dplus KIA's, Kang "Saint" Sung-in is the only player returning for 2026. The 20-year-old was one of the brightest spots on an otherwise struggling team. With great laning stats, the Korean midlaner will use his second year in North America to cement himself as a player to watch.

Frankie "Zamudo" Lin arrived before Split 3 Most Valuable Prospect in Split 1. Unfortunately for him, visa issues delayed his debut, forcing him to finish 2025 playing in LYON's academy, followed by a loan to Isurus. The Canadian will be the second player returning to a hungry LYON eager to prove himself against his competition.

The Pack Leaders

LYON were not afraid to break the bank ahead of the 2026 season. This was evident when Kim "Berserker" Min-cheol was reported as their botlaner. He returns to North America after a year competing in LCK with DN Freecs. During his time in Cloud9, the 22-year-old won two championships.

Berserker's lane partner will be Jonah "Isles" Rosario. The Australian support spent two years competing with middle-of-the-pack results for Dignitas. This will be the first time both Berserker and Isles are reunited, as they played for C9 back in Spring 2022.

There is no better way to wrap this roster than by announcing Kacper "Inspired" Słoma. The Polish jungler spent two years expanding his team and individual accolades. The 23-year-old led FlyQuest to two championships and was named LCS Player of the Year back-to-back. Inspired is expected to lead the Mexican organization to greater heights.
