LYON is still awaiting for Zamudo's visa approval
On Thursday, August 21, Isurus announced the signing of Frankie "Zamudo" Lin. The talented Canadian toplaner, originally slated to join LYON in the LTA North Summer 2025, was unable to compete due to visa complications. Now, he’s joining Isurus on loan to compete in the final stretch of the South conference playoffs.
Zamudo is set to debut against Leviatán as Isurus’ fourth toplaner of the year, taking over a role previously held by Noh "Burdol" Tae-yoon, Park "Summit" Woo-tae, and Enzo "ZOEN" Ganino. ZOEN, however, will remain with the team as the sixth player.
Zamudo’s true Tier 1 debut
Joining Isurus marks Zamudo’s first experience in a primary league. Previously, Zamudo made a significant impact on North America's competitive scene. He was a key member of DarkZero Dragonsteel, a collaboration between DarkZero Esports and Maryville University. During his tenure, the team secured a first-place finish in the NACL Summer 2024 and a second-place finish in the 2025 Spring Split. Zamudo's performance earned him the Most Valuable Prospect Award, highlighting his potential for future success.
His previous teammates include Ganbat "Yuuji" Ulziidelger, now with Team Liquid, and Jeremiah "ScaryJerry" Leathe, who has Tier 1 experience with Disguised. Together, they clinched the second split title of the NACL.
