With Team Liquid, Reignover took part in five international events and won two domestic splits
Team Liquid have announced the departure of Kim "Reignover" Yeu-jin after three years on their coaching staff. During his time with the organization, he held every role from assistant coach to head coach and took part in five international events — two Worlds, the EWC, MSI, and First Stand. He also claimed two domestic titles, winning the 2024 LCS Spring Split and the 2025 LTA Split 1.
Team Liquid’s year has been anything but easy, despite a promising start. They opened the season strong by winning LTA Split 1 and qualifying for First Stand, though the international event ultimately ended in disappointment. In Split 2, the team was upset in playoffs by Shopify Rebellion, finishing in fourth place — just short of qualifying for both MSI and the EWC. Split 3 turned out to be their weakest showing yet, as they failed to reach the cross-conference playoffs after suffering back-to-back clean sweeps at the hands of FlyQuest and 100 Thieves.
Nearly seven years of coaching
Before becoming a coach, Reignover was a prominent figure in both the European and North American scenes. A jungler by trade, he began his career in South Korea with Incredible Miracle, without achieving any major results. Following the disbandment of several LCK teams, he moved to Europe and joined Fnatic, immediately winning the Spring Split. The team reached the semifinals of the very first edition of MSI, where they fell to SK Telecom T1. Shortly after, Fnatic completed a perfect 18-0 Summer Split and claimed the title once again. At Worlds, the team reached the semifinals once more, but this time was clean-swept by the KOO Tigers.
Reignover then crossed over to a third region, joining the NA LCS with Immortals, later playing for Team Liquid and Counter Logic Gaming before retiring as a player and transitioning into coaching. Starting with Cloud9 and later working in NA Academy, he collected a few domestic titles before parting ways with C9 following a Worlds quarterfinal appearance in 2021. After a brief return to Europe with MAD Lions in 2022, he joined Team Liquid in 2023, serving in various coaching roles over the next three years.
