100T qualified for the 5th Worlds in their history
100 Thieves secured their place at the 2025 League of Legends World Championship with a commanding 3-0 sweep over RED Canids in the lower bracket of the LTA Championship. The victory ensures them a Top 3 finish and the automatic Worlds ticket that comes with it. This marks their second knockout of an LTA South representative, following their win against paiN Gaming in Round 1.
This run carries an emotional weight, as 100 Thieves are in the middle of their swan song. The team is set to exit the League of Legends Championship of the Americas once the season concludes, having competed this split as a guest partner. Every match in this playoff run has become part of a last dance, with each victory extending the team’s story. Now, with a spot at Worlds secured, 100 Thieves’ final act will unfold on the greatest stage League of Legends has to offer.
All Americas representatives confirmed
With this result, the three teams that will represent the Americas at Worlds 2025 are now locked in. FlyQuest and Vivo Keyd Stars earned their spots earlier by winning their respective conference splits, and 100 Thieves join them thanks to their at least Top 3 finish in the Championship. The exact seeding is yet to be determined and will depend on the results of the upcoming matches, which could significantly shape the teams’ international paths.
Next on the schedule, 100 Thieves will face Vivo Keyd Stars in the lower final on September 27 in Allen, Texas. A win would secure them a place in the grand final against FlyQuest and improve their seeding going into Worlds. Regardless of how the regional competition concludes, 100 Thieves’ qualification gives their final year in the LTA a strikingly symbolic ending. Their Worlds 2025 journey will be both a competitive challenge and a farewell performance, closing the curtain on a long-standing chapter in their League of Legends legacy.
