A wave of youth is hitting Top Esports. After announcing contract extensions for veterans Bai "369" Jia-Hao, Lin "Creme" Jian, and Yu "JackeyLove" Wen-Bo, TES have now revealed the arrival of two young recruits: Yang "naiyou" Zi-Jian in the jungle and Zi "JiaQi" Jia-Qi as AD Carry, serving as JackeyLove’s substitute.

Alongside the new players, Top Esports are bringing in a fresh coaching staff to replace Yoon "Homme" Sung-young, who left for Hanwha Life Esports. Chang "Poppy" Po-Hao will take the helm as Head Coach, joined by Li "Leo" Yu-Ming and He "BoBo" Wen-Bo.

naiyou returns, JiaQi joins as backup

It will be naiyou who takes on the tough task of succeeding the legendary Seo "Kanavi" Jin-hyeok. The 21-year-old jungler returns to the team that developed him. In Split 1, he played in the LDL with TES’ academy roster before joining LGD Gaming in the LPL for a few BOs as a substitute for Wu "Climber" Hong-Tao. In the Summer, he moved to Ninjas in Pyjamas, replacing Mao "Aki" An.

As for JiaQi, he joins the team and is expected to play the first split while JackeyLove recovers from health issues. He started the year on RNG, which finished last, then moved to FunPlus Phoenix mid-year, but results didn’t improve there either.

Local Coaches

After spending the year with a Korean coaching staff, TES are changing direction with the arrival of a new team of local coaches. Poppy, the Taiwanese head coach, has spent the last seven years in the LPL with Royal Never Give Up, LNG Esports, and most recently EDward Gaming.

BoBo, the assistant, was previously head coach of LGD Young Team before joining JD Gaming as an assistant. Finally, Leo is promoted after serving as head coach of TES’ academy squad, where he won 2025 LDL Split 1 with naiyou in the jungle.
