Beichuan is BLG's thrid jungler in just 1 year
BiliBili Gaming has just officially announced on their social media the arrival of Yang "Beichuan" Ling to their roster. While there’s no word yet on the future of Yan "Wei" Yang-Wei in the jungler role, Beichuan’s arrival makes him the third jungler to play for BLG in less than a year, while the rest of the roster has remained unchanged. After spending three years competing mid-table with ThunderTalk Gaming in the LPL, the 23-year-old jungler now has the mission of revitalizing a team aiming for the top of the standings.
Far from their performances last year, BLG has been the subject of many rumors in recent weeks about their desire to shift momentum. That change is now official with the signing of Beichuan. The jungler comes from the LDL (China’s second-tier league), having played for the FunPlus Blaze academy before being promoted to the LPL with FunPlus Phoenix during Spring 2022. He will share the role with Kim "Clid" Tae-min this split, and only became a full-time LPL starter after joining TT Gaming in Summer 2022.

He was likely one of the best options on the market for BLG. Beichuan holds respectable stats, ranking as the fifth-best LPL jungler in 2024 according to Sheep Stats. 2025 is also off to a good start for him, having led his team to the Playoffs undefeated in their group, before falling to JD Gaming and BiliBili Gaming.
Try to stay afloat
In 2024, BLG won both LPL splits, leaving no room for competition to claim the top of the podium. They also reached both international finals that year, at MSI and Worlds. Their offseason was closely watched, and they chose to let go of only Peng "Xun" Li-Xun, their sixth man and main jungler during most of Worlds.
Despite a strong core and clear favorite status, BLG has struggled, looking far less dominant and finishing only 4th in the first split, losing out to Top Esports. The second split hasn’t started much better. Although they easily qualified for the Ascend group, they currently hold only 4 wins and 5 losses, putting their playoff hopes at risk. Likely facing a Play-in route to reach the playoffs of Split 2, the organization decided to replace Wei, whose future remains uncertain.
