Since losing to Nord, Los Ratones have swept both opponents 3-0
Los Ratones are headed to League Disrupt. The British squad secured the final spot in the NLC 2025 Spring Split Finals after a dominant 3-0 victory over Verdant in the lower bracket. With the Copenhagen stage now locked in, they’ll face off against Ruddy Sack in a do-or-die matchup, with everything on the line.
A win in Denmark would earn them a shot at redemption in the grand final against NORD Esports — currently the only team to have defeated Los Ratones this year in NLC. A loss would end their run just short of the finish line in third place, knocking them out of EMEA Masters Spring 2025 and denying them the chance to defend the title they claimed in the Winter edition.
The Return of the Rats
After a shaky start to the playoffs with a loss to NORD, questions swirled around Los Ratones’ form. But since then, they’ve been flawless, sweeping both Venomcrest and Verdant 3-0 to reignite their run. The squad, led by streamer and former LEC player Marc "Caedrel" Lamont, now looks more confident and dangerous than ever.
Now, only Ruddy Sack stands between them and a rematch with NORD in the grand final. The UK-based org underwent big changes in the offseason, parting ways with Marcin "Jankos" Jankowski, who joined NORD, and Luka "Perkz" Perković, who left the roster. Despite the shake-up, Ruddy has found stability throughout the Spring Split and evolved into a smart, consistent threat. Co-owned by Jake "DonJake" Morley, Jakob "YamatoCannon" Mebdi, and Christian "IWDominate" Rivera, Ruddy is known for their structured, methodical playstyle. They’ve even managed to take a game off NORD.
Copenhagen sets the stage, as League Disrupt will take place at K.B. Hallen (4,500 people capacity) from May 31 to June 1, combining the NLC Finals with a wider festival atmosphere.
