Kaiwing was part of PSG's reign in the PCS and CFO's in the LCP
CTBC Flying Oyster’s six-man roster will not remain intact following a year of remarkable dominance in the league. As announced by the LCP on social media, support player Ling "Kaiwing" Kai Wing is parting ways with CFO and will not be their support for the 2026 season.
Aside from Chiu "Doggo" Tzu-Chuan, who is contracted through 2026, all other players on the roster have contracts ending at the end of 2025. For now, no player is fully confirmed for next season.
A part of a historic year
At 29, Kaiwing stands as one of the league’s most distinguished veterans. Throughout his career, he has claimed seven split titles, five Worlds appearances, and three MSI qualifications—achievements spanning his early years in Taiwan’s LMS with Hong Kong Attitude, three iconic years at PSG Talon in the PCS, and most recently, his season with CTBC Flying Oyster in the LCP.
While his time at PSG Talon marked a dominant era for the team, Kaiwing has also played a key role in defining the new era of Southeast Asian supremacy by joining CFO last year. This season, CFO secured wins in all three splits—completing the regional Grand Slam—and became the only team worldwide to attend all three international events in 2025. During Worlds 2025, CFO made history as the first Southeast Asian squad to reach the Top 8 at Worlds since Flash Wolves and ahq eSports Club in 2015.
Kaiwing’s next destination remains unclear, but the player posted a message on social media thanking the team’s many fans and highlighting the hard work and dedication shown throughout the year and across multiple tournaments.
