Vital makes another appearance in the LCK with Nongshim
For this 15th day of the LCK, Nongshim RedForce is making another swap between the main roster and the academy team. Ha "Vital" In-seong will play on Friday against KT Rolster, while Jung "Jiwoo" Ji-woo moves down to the LCK CL. Earlier in the split, NS had already demoted Lee "Fisher" Jeong-tae to promote Syun "Calix" Hyun-bin, who has been performing quite well since his arrival.
Roster swaps between main and academy teams are common in the LCK, with organizations often looking to shift momentum by adjusting their lineups. While these changes typically come during losing streaks, this one happens as Nongshim is riding a two-match win streak. It's also worth noting that Jiwoo has now played two consecutive best-of-threes in the LCK CL, most recently helping secure a win this very morning against the DN Freecs Challengers.
Not his first ride in LCK
Vital is a player we've seen many times in the LCK. Back in 2022, he was promoted during the Spring Split for three best-of-threes, all of which ended in losses. He then went on loan to Japan, playing for QT DIG, before returning for Spring 2023, where Nongshim finished 10th in the LCK. He began the Summer Split that year but was later demoted to the academy roster.
More recently, in Summer 2024, he role-swapped to support and played five best-of-threes, managing wins against both T1 and OKSavingsBank BRION. At the start of the 2025 LCK CL Rounds 1–2, he returned to his original role as AD Carry.
