Hanwha Life's 2026 roster is now complete
It’s hard not to be seduced by Hanwha Life Esports’ project, as the organization once again positions itself as one of the main teams to watch in the LCK for 2026. The South Korean team has officially announced the signing of Lee “Gumayusi” Min-hyeong, who will be joining as their new ADC.
He takes over the spot left vacant by Park “Viper” Do-hyeon, completing HLE’s roster—and effectively bringing an end to the major ADC shuffle of this offseason. Viper, for his part, is heading to the LPL and is reportedly in advanced talks with Bilibili Gaming.
Eyes set on all trophies
Anyone even slightly familiar with modern League of Legends esports already knows Gumayusi’s story and achievements. Trained at T1, the most successful organization in the game’s history, he’s part of the club’s golden generation that has dominated the world since at least 2022. That year, marking the start of the “ZOFGK” era, saw T1 make four consecutive Worlds finals, winning three back-to-back-to-back.
Even after Choi “Zeus” Woo-je left T1 for Hanwha at the end of 2024, the team’s results remained the same. Now, it’s Gumayusi’s turn. Having spent his entire career at T1, he joins Zeus in a lineup that, on paper, may very well rival his former team. Hanwha retained its toplaner and midlaner Kim “Zeka” Geon-woo, as well as its support Yoo “Delight” Hwan-joong, and added Seo “Kanavi” Jin-hyeok, who returns to the LCK after six years in the LPL.
Barely a year ago, Hanwha lifted its first-ever trophy during the 2024 Summer Split, followed by a second one in the 2025 LCK Cup. Those victories led the team to compete—and triumph—at the new international season-opening event, the First Stand, against champions from the four other major regions.
There’s no doubt those titles have only fueled the team’s hunger. Hanwha now seems ready to challenge the league’s giants: Gen.G, who dominated the 2025 LCK season in historic fashion, and T1, weakened domestically but still shining on the Worlds stage. With what looks on paper like a world-class lineup, Hanwha Life Esports has built an armada capable of claiming every title in sight. Still, Gen.G have re-signed their entire dominant roster, and T1, in a stunning move, brought in Kim "Peyz" Su-hwan—the mechanical prodigy who shined for Gen.G in 2023 and 2024—to replace Gumayusi.
