Ghost became a World Champion in 2020 with DAMWON Gaming
Jang "Ghost" Yong-jun and Oh "Pollu" Dong-gyu join KT Rolster in the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) as supports. The 2020 World Champion AD Carry with DAMWON Gaming is role-swapping to support and returning to the LCK after a three-year break, during which his only appearance came in the Summer 2025 split with Estral Esports in the Liga Regional Norte.
It’s a rather surprising move unfolding in the LCK: the 2025 Worlds finalists, KT Rolster, are parting ways with their support Jeong "Peter" Yoon-su, who will be joining another LCK team, according to our sources. Ghost is therefore returning home after three years away from the league, with his last appearance in the LCK dating back to 2022 with Nongshim RedForce.
Pollu is joining from OKSavingsBank BRION and will be part of KT Rolster’s six-man roster, alongside veteran Ghost, who will learn the role at the professional level, and Pollu, a rookie support by trade. Pollu spent his entire career with BRO and played in the LCK in 2025, delivering a more than solid performance in his debut year.
A Legend of the LCK
It’s a true LCK legend making his return. Ghost began his career in 2016 with CJ Entus alongside Gwak "Bdd" Bo-seong, then moved to bbq Olivers and later Liiv SANDBOX before being picked up by DAMWON in 2020 — the start of a remarkable chapter.
With DAMWON, he won the Summer Split, both splits in 2021, and, of course, the 2020 World Championship. He also played the 2021 Mid-Season Invitational final, where they fell to Royal Never Give Up, as well as the 2021 Worlds final, narrowly lost to EDward Gaming.
He later signed with Nongshim in 2022, though the year proved uneven, ending with two top-8 finishes before Ghost announced his retirement. In mid-2025, he briefly returned to competition with Estral Esports in the LRN, reaching the final and later playing the LTA North 2026 Promotion, where the team was eliminated by Luminosity Gaming.
KT's Changes
As mentioned earlier, Ghost has already played alongside Bdd, twice: first at CJ Entus and then again at Nongshim. This could mark the third time their paths cross, as the team could likely retain Bdd, who is still under contract until the end of 2026.
Lee "PerfecT" Seung-min is also under contract for the same period, while jungler Moon "Cuzz" Woo-chan is signed through 2027. However, nothing is set in stone, as the team has not yet announced which players will stay or leave. According to sources close to Sheep Esports, the botlane is expected to undergo significant changes.
