Karmine Corp Blue Stars launches applications for its second year
A year after launching its Karmine Corp Blue Stars project on League of Legends, the French club is repeating its initiative to train new talents on the game in 2026. On Thursday, the club announced through a post on its X account the opening of applications for its new team in LFL Division 2.
Announced during the KCX 4, the Karmine Corp Blue Stars project aimed to train young players in the competitive League of Legends environment and support them at the beginning of their careers. Despite fairly average results in the French second division, the objective seems to have been partially achieved.
A selection process to apply
To apply for the new team, Karmine Corp has set two main conditions. The first being obviously related to the goal of training young players, candidates must have been born after January 1, 2026. This date is extended to January 1, 2004, for the support role, likely due to the difficulties in finding players for this role. The second condition is to be at least Master rank.
From then on, you can then fill out the registration form to sign up for the project. This will ask you for information such as your account name, your nationality, ways to contact you, and some other information to provide.
Review of the first year
Despite fairly average results in the competition, KCBS still gets some satisfaction from its first year, when the team was formed by Xu "Tao" Hongtao Alessandro, Oliver "Baashh" Klitfelt, Mathis "MathisV" Vannieuwenuyse, Costin "Hazel" Pestrițu, and Emilien "Nsurr" Gergaud. Among these players, Hazel had the opportunity to be promoted to the Karmine Corp Blue team as previously reported by Sheep Esports and, by a twist of fate, will take part in the next LEC split with the team.
Among the other players, MathisV announced on his X account that he would re-enroll in the project for next year, while Nsurr invites support players who meet the criteria to contact him with any questions. Karmine Corp clearly states that anyone meeting the conditions can apply for this project, regardless of nationality.
