Swiffer and Arvindir were also considered
Team Heretics have found their new Head Coach for the 2026 LEC season: Jonas "Hidon" Vraa, as announced by the team on Tuesday. Per sources, the organization chose him over other options, including Simon “Swiffer” Papamarkos, Arvindir “Arvindir” Singh, before ultimately choosing the Danish coach.
A return to the LEC
Hidon transitioned from professional jungler to coach several years ago. He played in Nordic and Danish leagues, competing at a high level before becoming a coach in 2023 with Ruddy Esports in the NLC. Later that year, Hidon made the jump to the LEC, joining Excel Esports as part of the coaching staff in Spring 2023. Alongside Christophe “Kaas” van Oudheusden, he helped XL secure a strong second-place finish in the LEC Summer Split.
In 2024, Hidon and Kaas both remained in the coaching staff at the newly named GIANTX for the Winter Split, before Hidon moved to Fnatic in Spring 2024. At Fnatic, he specialized in positional coaching and itemization, contributing through the rest of the year. Without a team in 2025, Hidon focused on personal projects related to League of Legends. Now, he returns to the LEC stage in 2026 as a head coach, ready to apply his experience and vision.
