Gumayusi will receive two skins as a reward for being the MVP
Lee “Gumayusi” Min-hyeong has just secured his third consecutive World Championship title, and this time, he’s the one crowned Finals MVP. Following the victory, the 23-year-old AD Carry went live to chat with his fans. Like the rest of his teammates, he brought up the topic of Worlds skins, revealing that he was torn between Yunara and Miss Fortune — two champions he had played in the Grand Final against KT Rolster.
The rest of the team also shared their thoughts on potential picks for their Worlds skins. Ryu “Keria” Min-seok ran a poll on his Instagram, letting fans choose between Neeko and Lulu, before later posting on X to mention that Seraphine could also be an option. Neeko was by far his most iconic champion at these Worlds.
Choi “Doran” Hyeon-joon followed a similar approach, creating a poll that included Ambessa, Gragas, Camille, and a few other champions. During his stream, the toplaner eventually confirmed that he had decided on Ambessa — the champion he had played flawlessly in Game 1 of the Worlds final, setting the tone for T1’s series.
Two Skins for Gumayusi
Given that he was named Finals MVP after a phenomenal performance, Gumayusi will receive two skins — a regular one and a Prestige edition. Last year, Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok chose Yone and Sylas, while the previous MVP, Choi “Zeus” Woo-je, had both of his skins based on the same champion, Jayce.
Gumayusi played a total of 12 different champions throughout these Worlds: Varus, on whom he already has a skin, Kai’Sa, Xayah — a champion he mentioned he could pick if Keria chose Rakan to complete the duo — Sivir, Ashe, Caitlyn, Corki, Draven, Ziggs, Kalista, and finally Yunara and Miss Fortune, both played in the Grand Final. However, his Miss Fortune had far more impact in the last game of the BO5 than his Yunara did during the third one.
