Deuxième finale aux EMEA Masters pour Los Heretics depuis la victoire en 2022 contre BDS Academy
On Tuesday, the second semifinal of the EMEA Masters also ends in a 3-0 sweep. After a dominant victory over Unicorns of Love Sexy Edition, Los Heretics advance to the second EMEA Masters final in the organization’s history. They’ll meet Karmine Corp Blue in the grand final on Sunday, November 2, at the 4,000-seat Dôme de Paris during Paris Games Week — in front of an electrified French audience.
Unicorns of Love Sexy Edition’s impressive run comes to an end. They finish in the top four of the EMEA Masters — a better result than their performance in the Prime League this split.
As reported by Sheep Esports, the 2026 LEC Winter Split format is expected to feature both Los Ratones — two-time EMEA Masters champions this year — and the winner of this Summer edition for one split. While many details still need clarification, this could see either Karmine Corp Blue or Los Heretics join the regional elite in a few months, depending on the final outcome and Riot Games’ official decisions about the academies.
Spain vs France
Including the best-of-one encounter played earlier in the tournament, Los Heretics now hold a 4-0 record against USE in these EMEA Masters. The result doesn’t come as a major surprise, as USE entered the series as clear underdogs. Still, their story deserves recognition — it’s one of the most remarkable runs ever seen in ERL. It’s worth remembering that, without CGN Esports’ disqualification in the Prime League — which triggered their unlikely streak of victories — USE’s season would have ended on August 6.
But it’s the Spanish side that reach the final. Their last appearance dates back to 2022, when they lifted the trophy against BDS Academy — another LFL team. Neither of this year’s finalists has ever lost an EMEA Masters final, setting up a fiery and unpredictable clash.
Thomas “3XA” Foucou mentioned yesterday after his team’s win over Los Ratones that he was eager to face Khalil “Rin” Sahraoui, believing the two might be the best ADCs in the ERL this year. He also noted that scrims between the two teams were particularly intense throughout the season. With the offseason approaching, Europe’s attention now turns to the grand final on November 2 — following a two-week break.
