Disguised’s 2026 roster will look to reach and shatter their ceiling
After a successful bid and promotion to the League of Legends Championship Series, Disguised decided for 2025 to put their eggs in the basket of a young core of players supported by two former LCS champions. Unfortunately for them, the first dough they prepared to compete in North America’s premier league didn't prove enough, which was followed by subpar results.
However, the Guest slot organization kept the oven hot. Head Coach Ian “ido” McCormick was retained after changing the team's form, yet still finished 5-6th in Split 3. Disguised are looking to ride this momentum and reach their first playoffs in the LCS while reiterating their commitment to support up-and-coming native talent after an offseason shopping spree.
Sugar and Yeast
A good pastry chef knows sugar and yeast are essential to a perfect loaf of bread. The same analogy could be what ido sees in two of his acquisitions, 20-year-old jungler Christian “KryRa” Rahaian and 21-year-old botlaner Sajed “sajed” Ziade, two of the most promising native players who competed in the North American Challengers League in 2025.
sajed spent a couple of prolific years polishing his skills in NACL, playing more than 110 games and securing a championship in his debut split with FlyQuest Challengers. In 2025, he played for DarkZero DragonSteel, where he was named Most Valuable Prospect for Split 2. The botlaner tied third in Damage Share% among peers who played at least one game in both splits and will look to leave a lasting impression.
KryRa had a shorter time to hone his craft in NACL. The jungler patiently waited for his number to be called, sharing stage games with three players all year. He was subbed in to help DZ overcome a 1-2 deficit in the Loser’s Finals en route to finals appearance. KryRa boasts a diverse champion pool as he is one of only seven junglers in NACL who played Ivern.
Water and Flour
The next key ingredients in the DSG recipe are water and flour. The former activates the yeast, while the latter provides stability to the dough. There was no better example of stability in DSG’s 2025 roster than Cho “Castle” Hyeon-seong, the only player returning for another year. The Korean toplaner cleaned his play by lowering his Death% over the year, especially when considering his high tendency to be blind pick in draft.
Fellow countryman, Oh “Callme” Ji-hoon, will have his first Tier 1 experience in more than a year and a half, when he last featured for Nongshim RedForce in the LCK. For 2025, he joined Misa Esports in Turkey, his first experience away from home. Azir and Taliyah are his most prolific champions, but the midlaner utilized his time in TCL to become a more flexible player.
Gaucho Spice
The last ingredient is a variety of spices, just like support Pedro Luis “Lyonz” Peralta will have to be for DSG. The Argentinean player will bring his best to catapult this roster to the heights it could potentially achieve, especially through his proactivity, high percent Kill Participation, and experience on several competitive and high-pressure rosters.
Though Disguised will look to wipe their slate clean after their 2025 results, where they didn’t place higher than 5-6th and only won one best-of-series, patience should be the name of the game. Ido has followed the recipe, and hopefully for him, his dough doesn't stick during the baking process.
