At 29, Kaiwing will play outside PCS/LCP for the first time
Ling "Kaiwing" Kai Wing, the veteran support player known for his achievements in Southeast Asia’s League of Legends scene, is joining Brazilian team Vivo Keyd Stars for the CBLOL 2026 season, as announced by the organization.
After parting ways with CTBC Flying Oyster following a historic 2025 campaign, Kaiwing will embark on a new chapter in Brazil. At 29, this move marks his first competitive venture outside the PCS and LCP regions.
A legend overseas
Kaiwing's departure from CFO follows a landmark year when the team completed the regional Grand Slam by winning all three LCP splits and made history as the first Southeast Asian squad to reach the Worlds top eight since 2015. At 29, Kaiwing’s extensive career includes seven split titles, five Worlds appearances, and three MSI qualifications, making him one of the most decorated supports in the region’s history.
His move to VKS comes after the Brazilian team faced an unexpected gap in their roster when Kim "Loopy" Dong-hyeon, initially signed as their support, opted to return to South Korea’s LCK Challengers League for 2026. Kaiwing is highly regarded as one of the top free agents available, and his addition brings valuable international experience and leadership to the Brazilian squad. Vivo Keyd Stars aims to leverage Kaiwing’s seasoned expertise to elevate their performance in the 2026 CBLOL season.
Vivo Keyd Stars' reported roster for 2026 season:
- Top: Felipe "Boal" Boal
- Jungle: Pedro "Disamis" Gonçalves
- Mid: Jeong "Mireu" Jo-bin
- ADC: Matheus "Morttheus" Motta
- Support: Ling "Kaiwing" Kai Wing
