BNK FearX take home over $80,000 in prize money
BNK FearX win the 2025 League of Legends Asia Invitational after a 3-2 victory over Dplus KIA in the final. The tournament brought together three teams from the LCK, three from the LPL, and two from the LCP — all of which narrowly missed Worlds qualification, set to begin on Tuesday, October 14. Held over the course of a week, the event was largely dominated by Korean teams.
The tournament featured DK, BFX, and Nongshim RedForce representing the LCK; Ninjas in Pyjamas, JD Gaming, and Weibo Gaming from the LPL; and GAM Esports along with MGN Vikings Esports for the LCP. The three Korean teams and Weibo made it past the group stage. In the knockout rounds, DK defeated FearX and then NS to reach the final, while BFX took down Weibo and NS to secure their spot in the grand final.
If one player stood out during the event, it was undoubtedly the young AD carry Nam "Diable" Dae-geun. Crowned LCK Rookie of the Year, he once again delivered good performances throughout the tournament. In today’s final, he secured the second pentakill of his career—this time on Zeri—and was named Finals MVP.
Over 300K viewers for the final
While the event had the feel of a friendly tournament with little at stake—players competing from their own facilities rather than on stage before a live audience—the viewership reflected that atmosphere. Only two matches surpassed 200,000 viewers: the DK vs JDG series, and the grand final, which peaked at 318,816 viewers for the best-of-five between Dplus KIA and BNK FearX.
