After a 2024 beyond expectations,
Anyone's Legend have managed to build a roster for 2025 that, on paper, looks capable of doing at least as well. The most obvious reason is that the Chinese organization retains three key elements of its roster with midlaner
Cui “Shanks” Xiao-Jun and its botlane
Wang “Hope” Jie /
Kim “Kael” Jin-hong. The second reason is that, despite the loss of
Hu “Ale” Jia-Le (to
JD Gaming) and
Kim “Croco” Dong-beom, the team has recruited two LPL stars.
On the toplane first, AL have acquired the services of
Li “Flandre” Xuan-Jun, a veteran of the Chinese league who will be entering his 10th competitive season in the LPL next year. After a disappointing year with JDG, first finishing 3rd in the Spring, then 7th-8th in the Summer, and missing the year's two international events, Flandre will be keen to bounce back in a rising team. He'll also be back in the starting line-up at 100%, having shared his place with sheer at JDG last year.
In jungle, although Croco is coming off a rather promising year, he will no longer occupy his role at Anyone's Legend next year. To replace him, the Chinese team had to be sure of raising their standing in order not to lose out, and on paper, they've more than succeeded. Indeed, the Pandas have recruited
Lee “Tarzan” Seung-yong. The Korean jungler has just completed a very convincing Summer Split with Weibo Gaming. After a break during the Spring Split, he joined WBG with whom he finished 2nd in the Summer and qualified for the Worlds as one of, if not the, best player on his team.
Anyone's Legend have thus managed to complete a competitive roster which, on paper, aims to do at least as well as the 5th-6th place achieved at last year's Summer. A roster that has already proved its worth,
as the team has just won the Demacia Cup 2024, beating Top Esports 3-1 in the final.
