Fudge, Nukeduck, and Mithy... find all the rewarded players in LTAN Split 3
The 2025 LTA North Split 3 Awards, are currently underway to recognize the top performers of the split, although key honors like the All-Pro Teams, Rookie of the Year, and Player of the Year have not yet been announced. These awards highlight individual achievements, player development, and coaching excellence throughout the season.
Head Coach Erlend “Nukeduck” Holm and Assistant Coach Alfonso “Mithy” Rodríguez won Coaching Staff of the Year after dominating all discussions with FlyQuest throughout the entire year. Ibrahim "Fudge" Allami was named Most Improved Player of the Year, recognizing his rise in performance and return to peak form toward the end of the season with Shopify Rebellion.
Coaching staff of the Split
FlyQuest has been named Coaching Staff of the Year for the second consecutive year, underscoring its continued dominance in the league. The team’s coaching staff is spearheaded by Head Coach Nukeduck and Assistant Coach Mithy, both of whom have been instrumental in establishing FlyQuest’s strategic depth and adaptability both before games and during games.
Their consistent commitment to player development and their skill in crafting tailored game plans week after week have established them as one of the most respected and reliable coaching staffs in the LTA. After leading FlyQuest to become the best Western team in 2024, they sustained that momentum by securing the Second and Third Split championships this year. This recognition not only builds on their past achievements but also underscores the stability and continued growth of the FlyQuest roster throughout 2024 and the whole of 2025.
Most Improved Player
The Most Improved Player award for Split 3 goes to Fudge, who has undergone a significant transformation this season. After starting 2025 with a quieter impact and occasionally being viewed as the weaker link within his lineup, Fudge has evolved into a leading force capable of carrying games almost single-handedly this split.
Having gained more confidence in himself, he is one of the main reasons behind Shopify Rebellion’s recent success in LTA North. When put in the right conditions, he is capable of single-handedly winning games, as he demonstrated recently against Cloud9, but also against FlyQuest and Gabriel “Bwipo” Raul during playoffs. This growth not only solidifies his position among the league’s pillars on the toplane but also marks him as a player to watch in the upcoming Regional Championship following his steady progression since the beginning of the year.
Split 3 All-Pro Team
The North American league also honored the best players of the year with the release of the All-Pro Teams. The first team features four FlyQuest players, with only the midlaner slot being filled elsewhere: Gabriël "Bwipo" Rau in the toplane, his jungler Kacper "Inspired" Słoma, 100 Thieves’ midlaner Lim "Quid" Hyeon-seung, along with Fly’s botlane duo Fahad "Massu" Abdulmalek and Alan "Busio" Cwalina.
The second team was more diverse, with Cloud9’s Park "Thanatos" Seung-gyu, 100 Thieves’ Kim "River" Dong-woo, Fly’s Song "Quad" Su-hyeong, Team Liquid’s Sean "Yeon" Sung, and Cloud9 support Philippe "Vulcan" Laflamme. The third team was largely dominated by Shopify Rebellion players, featuring Ibrahim "Fudge" Allami, Juan "Contractz" Garcia, and Ju "Bvoy" Yeong-hoon.
Bill "Eyla" Nguyen took the support role, while the midlane spot went to Lee "Loki" Sang-min. The 20-year-old Korean rookie was also named Rookie of the Year after joining C9 earlier this year to replace Joseph Joon "Jojopyun" Pyun, who crossed the Atlantic to join Movistar KOI in the LEC. Coming from Hanwha Life Esports Challengers, Loki delivered a promising year for C9.
