Toplaner: BrokenBlade
G2 Esports’ toplaner delivered another strong showing throughout the LEC weekend. Against Karmine Corp, BrokenBlade was, as usual, extremely difficult to punish in lane on Gnar and found several impactful opportunities on his signature Kled pick. Alongside the rest of his team, he comfortably outclassed GIANTX without ever truly being put under pressure. Things proved somewhat more challenging against Movistar KOI, though that does little to diminish the overall quality of his performances across the weekend.
Jungler: Elyoya
As has often been the case, Elyoya once again served as both the driving force and the architect of his team’s early game. He handled the essentials against GIANTX, creating the conditions for his laners to shine. Although pressured by Karmine Corp, he still delivered an excellent performance on Vi to level the series. Against G2, he once again excelled in the areas that define his style, consistently influencing the early game and finding decisive teamfight engagements throughout all three games.
Midlaner: Caps
Facing two of the best midlaners in the LEC, Caps once again reminded everyone why he remains the benchmark in his role. He produced two strong games against Karmine Corp, particularly in the opening match on LeBlanc, where he enabled his team to secure the early skirmishes. Against GIANTX, he was entirely in control, remaining virtually untouchable throughout the series. While Movistar KOI managed to pressure him more effectively, he still found solo kills onto
in the deciding game, once again on LeBlanc, although he was ultimately unable to maintain his influence afterward.
AD Carry: Caliste
It was difficult to look past Caliste for the AD Carry position after the French player stepped up in the weekend’s most anticipated matchup. The Karmine Corp player secured his first pentakill with KC in a particularly high-pressure game. As one of the central figures of the series, he was deservedly awarded the game’s MVP title. His other two performances were also solid, though he suffered from his team’s difficult mid-game transitions in the remaining matches.
Support: Busio
No support player truly stood out above the rest this weekend, with each experiencing both strong and weaker moments. Nevertheless, Busio’s dominant laning phases earned him a place in this week’s lineup. He performed valuable work behind the scenes to enable Caliste to shine against KOI and remained generally stable throughout the early stages of games. The team’s botlane ultimately remained one of the few consistent positives for KC during an otherwise difficult weekend.
