Here to stay. This Sunday, April 26,
, the most decorated organization in
League of Legends history,
announced the contract extension of their support through 2029. A three-time World Champion over the past three years with the team, Keria has established himself as one of their defining figures and will remain with the organization for the foreseeable future.
Keria's previous contract was set to expire in November 2026, following the two-year extension he signed
back in November 2024. With that deal nearing its end, T1 have now tied him down to a new long-term contract, this time for three years.
Since joining the team for the 2021 season, fans quickly grew attached to the young support, drawn both to his personality and to a highly distinctive playstyle defined by an exceptionally wide champion pool. This is no exaggeration: with 61 champions played over the course of his career, he has repeatedly reshaped the meta and posed significant challenges to his opponents.
A face of the organization
Having spent more than five years at T1, Keria has lived through it all with the organization. His achievements are already exceptional with three World Championship titles, more than any support player in history, along with one LCK title and an Esports World Cup victory. Individually, he has been named Support of the Year five consecutive times and took home Player of the Split awards in Spring 2023.
The journey has not always been without difficulty. Many fans still remember the tears shed during the 2022 World Championship final, when T1 fell to DRX despite an outstanding tournament from their support. One year later, however, the team finally reached the pinnacle with the same roster, known as ZOFGK, which left a lasting impression on an entire generation of fans. They went on to win the competition two more times, making T1 the first team to achieve a âthree-peat,â consistently delivering performances of the highest level. Keria now has two skins representing him, with Pyke and Bard, and a third for Seraphine set to arrive soon.
His partnership in the botlane with
will undoubtedly remain one of the most iconic duos in the history of the game. However, with T1's new AD Carry Kim "
Peyz" Su-hwan signed until 2028, Keria may well be set to forge a new iconic duo within T1. Even following the departure of his long-time lane partner in the most recent offseason, Keria has continued to shine through his individual talent alongside
, who joined the team at the same time as him, and, of course,
, face of the team and the game.
Keria, who joined T1 in November 2020, is now set to spend at least 9 years with the organization should he see out his contract in full.
