Karmine Corp plans to reimburse travel and accommodation costs for fans who have already paid for them
Karmine Corp has announced the postponement of its annual event, KCX5, which will return at a later date and in a new format. According to the French organization, further details will be shared in early 2026.
Originally scheduled for December 19–20, 2025, at Paris’ Adidas Arena, the event’s proximity to the holiday season posed logistical challenges, particularly concerning timing and rising travel and accommodation costs in the French capital.
Refunds Planned For Fans
Moreover, Karmine Corp is going through a turbulent period, and according to the organization, the current context does not allow them to deliver a show worthy of their fans’ passion and the spirit of the Blue Wall. The club also confirmed that all tickets will be refunded through the official ticketing service.
Tickets for the event will be refunded, but that’s not all. The club has also committed to reimbursing anyone unable to recover their travel or accommodation costs, taking full responsibility for the postponement of the event.
The Event Of The Year
The KCX is Karmine Corp’s annual event, held every year since 2021. The first physical edition took place at the Palais des Congrès in Paris, in front of 3,500 fans. In 2022, the event grew, attracting 12,000 spectators at Bercy. In 2023, Karmine Corp went even bigger, inviting teams from around the world — T1 and LOUD for VALORANT, G2 Esports for Rocket League, and Team Heretics for League of Legends — with 28,000 attendees at the Défense Arena.
The most recent edition, at the end of 2024, featured the Spanish team KOI, led by Ibai "Ibai" Llanos, bringing a sense of rivalry in front of 30,000 attendees. The event also included a performance by French rapper La Fouine. The KCX originally planned for 2025, which has now been postponed, was set to span two days and focus on League of Legends and VALORANT.
The event is also often a key moment for the club to unveil major projects, such as their entry into the LEC in 2024, teased during KCX3, or the Karmine Corp Blue Stars project, the team competing in the LFL’s second division, announced during KCX4.
