How does the 2-0 feel?
Yoo "Delight" Hwan-jung: “The early game was pretty rough in a lot of ways, but we found the right openings, and I'm just glad we managed to take it 2-0 in the end.
What was the key to today's win?
Delight: The draft went pretty smoothly overall, and then in the actual gameplay there were a few plays that just didn't work out. But after that we kept communicating and found our openings, so I think that's how we won.
What didn't go your way?
Delight: When we had the advantage, we weren't aggressive enough, and in some fights we backed off when we didn't need to… So I think we couldn't really push our lead early on.
Why stack even more engage with Rell in Game 2?
Delight: Even with Annie and Gnar, there are a lot of champs that lack CC, and the enemy comp looked like it needed a lot of CC to deal with too. So I just picked the best option out of the remaining supports.
You're known for engage supports, how do you read the current enchanters meta?
Delight: Honestly, ever since Worlds, the bot lane meta hasn't really changed much, and at the same time, all the pros have leveled up their enchanters support play too. So when it comes to the meta, I just think you've gotta go with it without overthinking it. Beyond that, I don't really have a favorite champ, I just play whatever I'm told to play.
Thoughts on KT's Yuumi support?
Delight: Watching it in matches, I've been pretty skeptical about it, so I'm keeping an eye on it, but if they bring it out against us, we'll have to handle it well.
Sword or Shield against KT?
Delight: Our team loves to fight, and KT loves to fight too, so I think it'll basically be sword vs. sword. And that means the jungle-support synergy is going to be really important, so we've got to be on point.
How complete is the bot lane synergy with Gumayusi?
Delight: I'd say we're at about 60 to 70 percent right now, and there's still stuff to work on, so I think it's only going to get better.
Gumayusi's "Support, only look at me!" reactions?
Delight (laughing): I think I saw it, yeah. I mean, it's work; it's a professional thing. In-game, when I can look after him, I will, and when I can't — I'll just ditch him behind. Clean. That's how it's gonna be.
Any champion you'd love to see return to the LCK meta?
Delight: I really like playing top or mid champs as support, so I'd love to see that kind of off-meta, wild-card stuff come back. Like Camille support, or LeBlanc support, stuff like that would be fun to see.
