Games of the Future 2026: PlayTime crowned MOBA PC Dota 2 champions after dominant Grand Final

The MOBA PC Dota 2 competition at the Games of the Future 2026 came to an end in Astana, Kazakhstan, after six days of action. Sixteen teams competed for the title, with PlayTime facing Yakult Brothers in the Grand Final at the Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov Martial Arts Palace.

PlayTime were crowned Games of the Future 2026 champions after defeating Yakult Brothers 3-0 in the grand final. Although they fell behind early in both the first and third games, PlayTime fought back each time, while a dominant second game put them firmly in control of the series. The victory secured the title and the biggest share of the tournament's US$1 million prize pool.

After the match, Hector "Wits" Máximo Orozco Alza credited the team's focus throughout the series.

Yakult Brothers ended the tournament in second place after an impressive run to the grand final. While they were unable to stop PlayTime's momentum, they remained competitive throughout the series and finished the event with a runners-up medal.

Earlier in the day, Team resilience secured third place by defeating home side Rune Eaters. They controlled both games from start to finish to end their Games of the Future campaign on a high and complete the podium alongside PlayTime and Yakult Brothers.
