The MOBA Mobile MLBB competition at the Games of the Future 2026 came to an end in Astana, Kazakhstan, after six days of competition. Sixteen international teams battled for the title and a share of the $900,000 prize pool, with Bigetron by Vitality and ONIC meeting in the grand final at the Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov Martial Arts Palace.
Bigetron by Vitality lift their first international trophy
Bigetron by Vitality were crowned Games of the Future champions after defeating ONIC 3-1 in the grand final. ONIC started strongly, but BTR fought back to take the opening game and hand their opponents their first game loss of the tournament. ONIC then levelled the series before Bigetron won the next two games to secure the title and the $315,000 first prize. Eman "Emann" Sangco starred in the deciding game with six kills, six assists and no deaths.
After the final, Emann spoke about the importance of beating an ONIC team that had remained unbeaten throughout the tournament:
"I'm so happy because this is our first international trophy with Bigetron. We know ONIC very well and know how they play, but they had beaten every team they faced here, so we knew how strong they are. Today, I think we were the better team."
ONIC finish second after unbeaten run
ONIC had reached the grand final without dropping a single game during their six-day campaign, but their perfect run ended in the final against Bigetron. They leave Astana with second place after coming within one series of claiming the title.
Earlier in the day, Aurora Gaming secured third place with a 2-0 victory over Selangor Red Giants. Aurora controlled the opening game and took the lead in under 15 minutes, with Sidar "Tienzy" Menteşe finishing with a KDA of 10/1/1. They then closed out the series in game two after a decisive teamfight in the 13th minute.
Aurora's player Lukasz "Pagu" Bigus said the team had learned from their earlier defeat to SRG in the group stage and used those lessons to secure third place.
