Tinowns will be paiN's new midlaner and will return to the Tradicionais three years after leaving.
The biggest drama of the CBLOL 2026 transfer window has come to an end. Sources close to Sheep Esports have revealed that midlaner Thiago “tinowns” Sartori has already chosen his next team for his return to competitive play and has a verbal agreement in place to sign the contract.
According to this report, the four-time champion will play for paiN Gaming and replace Jo “Roamer” Woo-jin, who will not continue with the team after a turbulent year with the traditional team. This will be tinowns' second stint with paiN, the team with which he won the Circuito Desafiante and CBLOL titles in 2021. One of the main reasons for choosing paiN was the change of scenery that the move will bring to tinowns' career.
The player spent more than eight consecutive stages at LOUD and won four titles for the organization, but all the stress and pressure caused by the last few campaigns made him take a break from his career. In other words, for the player, changing environments and being part of a new project is what made the most sense in this return to competitive play.
A career break
Tinowns is one of the leading players in the history of the Brazilian League of Legends scene. The midlaner has won six CBLOL titles, four of them in a row with LOUD.
However, in 2025, after playing two stages of the LTA Sul and failing to stand out, the player decided to take a break from his career to rediscover himself and have some time to himself. This is because Tinowns was one of the longest-serving players on the Brazilian scene, having played professionally since 2013.
