Leaving LOUD, Robo is close to signing with paiN Gaming para o CBLOL 2026
paiN Gaming is close to finalizing its roster for the CBLOL in 2026. According to sources close to Sheep Esports, the Tradicionais are in advanced talks to repatriate top laner Leonardo “Robo” Souza, who will not be continuing with LOUD next year and will be replaced for Carlos Felipe "xyno" Ferreira.
According to the report, interest in the player arose after the organization realized that there were players who did not want to play again with Choi “Wizer” Eui-seok, a South Korean who has been with paiN for four years and was part of all the lineup's failures, as well as lifting the CBLOL trophy with the organization at the end of 2024.
In addition to the likely change in the top lane, paiN also signed the return of Thiago "tinowns" Sartori, midlaner who was with Robo at LOUD during all of those years, and together they won four titles, all of them against the traditional organization.
The biggest CBLOL winner
Recently, Robo surpassed Felipe "brTT" Gonçalves as the greatest champion in the history of the scene. He won the championship four times in a row with LOUD, all against paiN, his possible destination.
His return to the Tradicionais divides opinions, largely due to the controversy surrounding his departure from paiN at the end of 2021, after an overwhelming year with the organization and winning a title. Amid all this confusion, Robo's image with the fans is somewhat tarnished, and there has been no announcement of his departure to date.
At the time, he mentioned that he had not received any help from paiN for a possible transfer to teams outside Brazil. Now, if the negotiations have a happy ending, it will mark the second stint of the seven-time CBLOL champion with Tradicionais, which is seeking an ambitious project after a year marked by poor performances.
