Mago will have one more chance to show your highest level in the CBLOL
LOUD already has a midlaner to replace the departure of Kang "Jool" Dong-su, who is going to Solary, in LFL. Sources close to Sheep Esports confirmed that on Friday, the organization and Jean “Mago” Dias, from RED Canids, reached an agreement for the player to be the team's new reinforcement.
According to the report, the idea behind signing Mago is, above all, to look to the future and the possibility that Head Coach Oh “Raise” Ji-hwan can turn him into a more complete player who reaches his full potential, something that has not yet been seen during the player's time in tier 1.
It is worth noting that LOUD had to purchase the player from RED Canids, as he was still under contract, even though he was not part of the Matilha plans for the CBLOL or the Circuito Desafiante. He will be replaced by Gabriel "Fuuu" Furuuti, who is close to signing with RED Canids for next year.
A faded star
Mago is one of those players who has great potential but has never managed to show it at the highest level of LoL in Brazil. This year, playing for RED Canids, the player experienced ups and downs, which caused him to lose his starting position in the middle of the second stage of the tournament.
After that, the player took a break and only returned in the second stage of the Challenger Circuit, replacing Lucas “Kaze” Fé, who was promoted to Matilha's main lineup after winning the title.
At the end of the season, Mago announced a new boot camp for South Korea. There, the promising young player reached the top 20 on the server, achieving a maximum of 1,600 LP, and now he will have another chance to prove herself.
