Fourth in the LEC Versus regular season,
found less success in playoffs, finishing in a disappointing seventh place. To address this, the Spanish organization has brought in a fourth coach: former midlaner Fabian â
FEBIVENâ Diepstraten, now transitioned into coaching, joins as a positional coach.
He therefore joins the coaching staff of Jonas â
Hidonâ Vraa, which already included Emre â
Arkheâ Akpınarlı and Alfonso â
Mithyâ Aguirre RodrĂguez, starting from the Spring Split 2026, set to begin on March 28, 2026. Team Heretics will play their opening match on Sunday, March 29 against SK Gaming.
At 29, FEBIVEN will therefore only be entering his second split as a coach. Backed by a long professional playing career, he is expected to be a valuable asset to the players, particularly the teamâs Turkish midlaner Tolga â
â Ălmez.
Having played for Cloud9 Eclipse and H2K Gaming, it was truly with Fnatic that FEBIVEN built his legacy. A two-time EU LCS champion in 2015, he helped the black-and-orange side reach the semifinals of the first edition of the Mid-Season Invitational, as well as the Worlds, where they were eliminated by the KOO Tigers.
He later went on to represent Clutch Gaming in North America, Misfits Gaming in the LEC, and Team du Sud in the LFL during their only season in Franceâs top division. More recently, in Summer 2025, he served as assistant coach to Jonathan â
just jonâ Ellis in the NLC,
where NORD Esports finished fourth in the split.
