After more or less accidentally leaking Blitzcrank on its website earlier today, Riot Games officially confirmed this Tuesday, August 26, that the Support champion from
League of Legends will be joining the
2XKO roster. He will be playable in just two weeks, as part of the
gameās beta, which is set to launch on September 9.
More details about Blitzcrank will be revealed on September 2.
PC players will be the first to try the game, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series access coming later. Those who took part in earlier tests will automatically gain entry, while newcomers will need to sign up on the official website. This beta will also mark the arrival of Vi, freshly added to the roster
according to Riotās latest announcement. A final launch lineup of ten champions is planned, as revealed back in March.
Alongside this, Riot also
unveiled the five arenas that will be available during the beta, all rooted in
LoL Runeterraās lore. Players will be able to fight on Annihilatorās Reach (a Noxian military camp), Scuttlerās Strand (the dark shores of the Serpent Isles), The Brazen Hydra (a pirate tavern in Bilgewater), Spirit Hills (the scenic landscapes of Ionia), and the iconic Bridge of Progress, connecting Piltover and Zaun, which has already become a fan favorite thanks to
Arcane.
