If you missed the official announcement in June, the
Americas Challengers is a week-long tournament featuring
six of the best Tier 2 teams from North America, Brazil, and Latin America. The teams will be competing for a prize pool of
$75,000 to determine who is the best team in the whole American continent. While the tournament serves as a stage for rising esports talent, it won’t have any bearing on the 2025 guest slots, which
were announced earlier this year on June 11. The focus of the event will be purely on showcasing the skills and strategies of up-and-coming teams.
The two finalists from Summer Split in the Brazilian, Latin American and North American Challengers leagues will participate. This includes paiN Gaming Academy, Fear x Starforge, WAP Esports, Fuego, Dragonsteel and Keyd Stars Academy. The tournament will run from September 14 to 21, with each day bringing new matchups.
